About Me

Pronouns: She/her

I am a queer and chronically ill-identifying therapist committed to helping adolescents, adults, and couples reconnect with their authentic selves, reclaim their agency, and cultivate greater ease in their relationships. With a background in massage therapy and dance, I am guided by a deep curiosity for how stress and trauma impact the body and nervous system – and how to support clients in achieving more embodied freedom. As a system-oriented therapist, I also consider how family, community, and cultural narratives impact peoples’ lived experiences.

I enjoy working with clients facing a variety of challenges, including relationship and family conflict, nervous system dysregulation, anxiety, depression, trauma, body image concerns, life transitions, and grief. I have a particular passion for supporting clients with chronic illnesses as they navigate medical trauma, diagnosis anxiety, and other unique experiences. Furthermore, I am currently pursuing additional training in psychogastroenterology, which explores how psychotherapy affects gut health. Additionally, I am interested in working with the LGBTQIA+ community on issues related to identity, intimacy, and family. I am affirming of alternative relationship structures and am committed to approaching clients with cultural consciousness, antiracism, humility, and respect.

What You Can Expect

I believe individual healing is a vital step toward collective liberation, and I aim to build a trusting, safe therapeutic relationship through which change can occur. My style is warm, compassionate, gently challenging, and trauma-informed, ensuring that clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I draw from narrative, attachment-based, parts-work (such as IFS), and somatic therapies, and work collaboratively with clients to identify and achieve goals. I am also trained in Somatic EMDR Therapy, a powerful approach to trauma recovery and PTSD that integrates body movements and sensations with traditional EMDR techniques.
